Rally Held For Universal Early Education, Child Care – Falmouth Enterprise
On Sunday, November 14, Cape and islands parents, providers and local advocates rallied in support of legislation to establish a universal system of affordable, high-quality early education and child care for Massachusetts families.
Attendees listened to parents, early educators and government officials about the childcare crisis on the Cape and islands and throughout Massachusetts. They reported about their struggles finding affordable and accessible child care so that they can return to work post-COVID and urged passage of the Common Start bill (H.605/S.362) for early education and child care.
