“I was just talking with a staff yesterday, who has been employed at Glenhaven for 4 years and just had a baby boy. She is a single mom. This staff is working hard to figure out childcare for her boy so she can fulfill her Residential Counselor responsibilities at Glenhaven. I believe in this case we will be able to accommodate her requests, but there is a chance it will not be a job she can retain. She truly cares about her job and is experiencing a lot of anxiety about not being able to be mandated if needed or needing to call out if her childcare falls through on a particular day.”
