Laura L - Educator
[Name changed at request of participant]
I have been working in the childcare/early ed field for about three years. I started working as an educator because I had respect for the field since I was in elementary and always would pretend that I was a teacher and now that I am in a vocational school they had a program on childcare and I really enjoyed how the program was being run and I loved making fun lesson for the children to take part in and seeing how happy and eager they were to learn.
What would the existence of an affordable, high-quality early education and child care program mean for you as an educator? What would be different if such a program existed?
It would mean that the field would have more respect, and if high quality childcare existed that would mean that there are people who would enjoy taking part in the field and doing the lessons.
