Kaiya R. - Educator

I started working in the childcare field in 2018. It's always been my dream to be a teacher and work with children and help them learn. I started to work as a educator due to me always wanting to be a teacher. I always wanted to help children learn. I feel it's the most important thing in our life. I think our system should be fixed because we do a lot and we never get recognized for what we do. If you think about it, teachers teach everyone what you need in your life and they help you grow.

Us educators deserve more: our pay, the credit. I feel us educators don't get enough pay for the things we do. We do so much through taking care of children, teaching them. I feel our pay is low and we deserve more money. I feel the amount of pay other jobs get compared to us is wrong. Teachers have low pay and lots of people don't look to our field. Because of this reason more people are not being teachers and we need more. Doing this will help grow our economy.
